I am a pre-veterinary student and chemistry major (Dickinson College '20). I have a particular interest in food animal medicine, especially its implications in sustainability and animal welfare. Much of my time is devoted to working at various animal hospitals, as well as gaining farming and animal management experience.

I am from Downingtown, PA, and I frequently journey back to spend time with my family (and my chickens!). In my free time, I enjoy baking, living sustainably, observing local wildlife, and creating art.

I believe that raising food animals ethically and sustainably is a moral responsibility, and that veterinary medicine is key to establishing this connection.

ABOUT
EXPERIENCE
I have been incredibly fortunate to work at three different animal hospitals as a veterinary assistant, veterinary technician, and student intern. I was also a student intern in the amazing Equine Pharmacology Lab at Penn Vet's New Bolton Center, and participated in the Penn Vet Summer V.E.T.S. Program.

EXPERIENCE
FARMING
I've acquired nearly 1,400 hours working with the Dickinson College Farm's cattle, sheep, and laying hens, in addition to learning more about vegetable production. I have also enjoyed volunteering at other farms and attending conferences to gain a wider understanding of different agricultural practices and fields.
